Tell Us More....:

Planning Stephanie and Sachin's wedding weekend was a thrilling and intricate journey, as the fusion of South Asian and Filipino cultures promised to be a vibrant, multi-sensory experience for their guests. The couple, and their families, wanted their personalities to shine through every detail, so we carefully wove together their cultures with their unique tastes.

Day 1: Pre-Wedding Festivities

The weekend began with a sangeet at The Westin Indianapolis, with traditional dance performances from each culture. The energy was lively, the air fragrant with marigold garlands and food from an Indianapolis favorite, India Sizzling.

Each family’s traditions were celebrated, blending seamlessly to honor their roots.

Day 2: The Wedding Ceremony

The wedding day was a masterpiece of color and culture. Held at the Indiana Statehouse, we designed the space with a beautiful mandap, intricately draped in white and blush florals, under which Stephanie and Sachin exchanged vows in a traditional Hindu ceremony. Stephanie, radiant in a red sari, and Sachin, regal in his embroidered sherwani, perfectly embodied the richness of their cultures.

Our team dropped flower petals on the family from the 2nd-floor balcony during the mangal sutra, a tradition in India that we were able to replicate for the family in this venue.

The Catholic Ceremony & Reception

The final night was truly a reflection of Stephanie and Sachin’s personalities—glamorous, elegant, yet modern and a nod to the elements of Central Library. Simon Reading Room stunned guests with its lush and luxurious floral arrangements, that flanked the large staircase.

Dinner was a culinary journey from Ritz Charles ending with Stephanies favorite heart shaped cake with strawberry filling. DJ Mavi kicked off the night and had everyone on their feet.

Final Touches

The weekend was filled with laughter, tears, and unforgettable moments. The couple's vision of a wedding that was glamorous yet intimate, personal but culturally expansive, came to life perfectly. Every detail, from the soft glow of candlelight at the reception to the bursts of color at the ceremony, was a reflection of their personalities, their love, and their shared cultures.
