Real Wedding

Please read through all these instructions before submitting. Submissions that do not comply with requirements will not be considered for publication. Real Wedding Submissions are accepted on a continuing basis.

Real Weddings are one-page features that profile weddings planned, coordinated, and executed by industry professionals.

Requirements: You must complete this questionnaire and submit photos to be considered for publication. All weddings must have occurred within a year of the publication print date. Preference will be given to weddings that share challenges and key learnings. Submissions do not guarantee publication, which is dependent on quality, deadlines, editorial, and space needs. You will be notified if your submission was accepted for publication.

Please submit a combination of 40-50 vertical and horizontal  professional photo images that tell the story of the day we love details and couple photos.  All photos must be 5×7, high-res (300 dpi), CMYK.  Credit will be given to the photographer. Please name your photos with the name of the couple that is featured (for example, Smith Allen wedding picture 1.jpg)

Article Submissions

Articles for Wedding Planner magazine should be 1100-1200 words for a two-page article without photos, 800 words for a one-page article. All submissions are to be written in a word document format.

In addition to the article please include in a separate word document a 50-60 biography of the author.

Photography: Include a professional headshot with your submission and 4-6 professional photos that may be used to illustrate your topic when applicable all photos must be 5×7, high-res (300 dpi), CMYK. All submitted files should be named using your name and the article name.

You may submit the article and the other documentation to this link by the deadlines listed below.

Submission of an article does not guarantee publication and the decision of the editor is final, authors will be notified if their submission will not be published.

Master Profile Submission

Master wedding planner/vendor profiles are featured in every issue of Wedding Planner Magazine and include information and photos designed to give insight into the person and the professional behind the designation

Eligibility: You must be a  MWP™ or MWV™  in good standing with the Association of Bridal Consultants.

Please complete the questions as you would like to see in print. Some editing will occur due to space/style requirements.

Please use this link to Submit here a combination of 5-10 vertical and horizontal professional photo images that show the best of the best of your work and up to 2 professional headshots.   

All photos must be 5×7, high-res (300 dpi), CMYK.  Credit will be given to the photographer. Please name your photos with your first and last name  (for example, Jane Roe picture 1. jpg) You must secure on your own, the necessary permissions/approvals from the photographer and couple before submitting for publication.
