The Sandals FAM Experience.... Sandals Royal Barbados Part 3 of 3
Hello my name is Jacqueline Smith and this was my my third Fam trip. This Fam trip was different than the others because we spent quality time with the members and the tours were broken up in groups that forced us to meet and network with other ABC members. I absolutely LOVE Royal Barbados and the ENTIRE rooftop experience SKYPOOL area, with the rooftop restaurant, La Parrisene, the hot tub and the decor was amazing. The view was breathtaking and the fact that it was open 24 hours meant I had no limits to my private time of relaxation and meditation with a priceless view.
The training in Sandals Barbados was very motivating and a wealth of knowledge. The TA-Portal training and the avenues to grow our business to the next level gave all of us equal opportunity to excel. The activities was so much fun and to have the ABC director and team networking right along with us while some of us were bowling, swimming (you had to be there to understand the late night pool party was one for the records) The tour gave us the opportunity to see what Sandals has created for the first time ever. (The Barber shop, the skypool, bowling alley) This Fam was one no one should’ve missed. Priceless for business growth because we have seen it and did the test drive for our clients. Dinner time was more like family time. We ate in smaller groups which forced us to get acquainted and share in a more quality meal setting. Opposed to all of us gathering in a dining area only to gravitate to our set group of members we already know. Plus we had a Sandals team member with us at dinner and that made it more personalized than just only having them at the podium in a training session. The decor was over the top! This was truly my favorite for many fabulous reasons. The chic and elegant decor even when you are by the pool. My favorite decor section, believe it or not was the outdoor decor at Lovers Lane!! I love outdoors but if was a more comfortable inviting living room family room style with class.
The FAMs have opened lifelong connections with other members that I may not have gotten hurt by going to workshops or even conference. We had time to grow together. I know the “FAM” is to familiarize us to the resort. But my new definition is the “FAM” is our time to grow with our Sandals “FAM”ily!! Excited to have my next experience. Always next level!
