Diversity Council

The Association of Bridal Consultants has long led the way in the wedding industry by appointing our own Lois Pearce, MWP as Director, Ethnic Diversity before any of the other associations were even born. To acknowledge the depth of the role, the title has been changed to Director, Diversity and Inclusion.

In this role, Lois continues to facilitate conversations within our organization about interpersonal communication, and ways to include culture, diversity, and equity in daily business.

The Diversity Council will be an added voice to our organization addressing the diversity subtopics of culture, race, gender, age, physical disabilities, and neurodiversity.

The Diversity Council will be made up of individuals from various geographical locations to continue providing a pathway of understanding of the various diversities for our members, and beyond.
