Since our first meeting, the bride knew what she wanted for the big day. She had clear ideas and her inspiration colors were already chosen.Inspiration: Rustic eleganceAha” Moment: Being part of their engagement was a special moment. As for the wedding planning, the bride and I enjoyed every moment of the process. The friendship we established made the planning fun for the bride—having lunch and talking about every moment that was important for her. Planning is our passion! Most unique design element: Denisse’s dress was the one that her mother used when she married with Denisse’s father. It had a special meaning for the family. This wedding also had special handmade details by one of the bridesmaids and the bride’s mother: table numbers and signs. The gifts were “sangria,’’ the brides favorite drink, and it was in a bottle with metal embossed with the couple’s initials.Color palette: Black magic, rose, gold, ivoryBudget: $30,000Staff hours: More than 100Planning time: 10 monthsClient meetings: Four meetings and numerous emails and callsSet up/strike details: The set up was all done the same day. It was a challenge since there was a significant amount of rain.Revenue breakdown: 100% planningBiggest challenge: A few days before the wedding, it was prognosticated that the day would be rainy. We made the decision to opt for our plan B, which we had already discussed with the couple. We had a great cocktail time, even though we couldn’t have it on the green area. Having a plan B is critical to event planning.
